Well done to the British Lions with another great test series win, this time against the might of South Africa.
See photos below which show that British Lions Tours are not just about playing top level Pool, seeing another countries way of life and culture is just as important in what was a most memorable visit to Worcester, South Africa.

Having spoken to the British Lions squad, it was not just the winning of the test series that made the tour so outstanding, they also met the Mayor of Worcester and his delegates plus being taken on a Safari.

One of the many highlights was the trips organised by Pool South Africa to show our players the Slyafuneka Township school where the children were overjoyed to meet the Lions squad.

Looking forward to the return of the Lions to South Africa in 2014, meanwhile there is the small matter of a visit to Perth, Australia next year where the mighty Aussies will be looking for revenge and a chance to take the Ashes from the British Lions.

Without doubt the real achievement of the Lions tours is the pride the players have from being part of the tests, and the total respect the teams have for each other. No payment just the love of the sport, well done to everyone involved.
Big bonus is that the Lions tour to South Africa will be screened on Supersport on one of the countries major television channels. Transmission times are detailed below.
